One of the biggest concert halls in Rio de Janeiro passed through different names and generations of artists.
The space currently known as Qualistage was opened in 1994, inside Via Parque Shopping, with the name Metropolitan.
Since its inauguration, the proposal has been to offer to Rio de Janeiro a house prepared to receive shows, musicals, theater, dance, humor, corporate events and large productions.
One of the main features of the space is flexibility. Track, tables, boxes, seats and technical areas can be rearranged depending on the format of each show.
Over the decades, the house went through different naming rights agreements and also used the names ATL Hall, Claro Hall, Citibank Hall, Metropolitan and Km de Vantagens Hall.
In 2021, the brand was presented Qualistage. The name matches “Quali” with the English word stage, which means stage.
After extensive modernization, the house reopened in March 2022, with structural updating, technological improvements and new configuration possibilities.
Currently, Qualistage welcomes national artists and international, great comedy shows, children's attractions, religious events, dance, theater and business productions.
The location within Via Parque Shopping allows access to parking, food and other services before and after performances.
