Sobre Padre Patrick:

O padre Patrick ganhou os holofotes aos 34 anos, após oito anos dedicados ao sacerdócio. Tornou-se um fenômeno nas redes sociais, onde compartilha diariamente mensagens de fé com um toque de humor e uma interação inusitada que cativa o público.

Natural de Santo Antônio do Canaã, no município de Santa Teresa (ES), ficou em contato com a Igreja Católica em um retiro, o que despertou sua missão. Ele começou a realizar encontros vocacionais e foi ordenado padre aos 25 anos em Marabá (PA). Desde sua primeira missa, encontrou seu propósito: ser útil às pessoas com sua generosidade natural. Atualmente, ele lidera as celebrações na Paróquia São Sebastião, em Parauapebas (PA).

Durante os cinco meses de suspensão das missas devido à pandemia, encontrou um novo caminho para disseminar a fé através da Internet. Começou a gravar vídeos e abrir um canal de escuta para os fiéis. Inicialmente, contava com apenas três mil seguidores no Instagram, em sua maioria frequentadores de sua paróquia. Com leveza e naturalidade, ele humanizou a fé, abordando a religião de forma irreverente.

Essa interatividade cresceu rapidamente, atraindo seguidores de diversas religiões. Nas famosas “caixinhas de perguntas” realizadas às segundas-feiras, ele oferece conselhos de maneira leve e bem-humorada, respondendo a curiosas perguntas de seus seguidores.

Father Patrick came into the spotlight at the age of 34, after dedicating eight years to the priesthood. He has become a phenomenon on social media, sharing daily messages of faith with humor and an unusual interaction style that captivates the audience.

A native of Santo Antônio do Canaã, in the municipality of Santa Teresa (ES), he first encountered the Catholic Church during a retreat, awakening his mission.
