MUDANÇA DE HÁBITO NO TEATRO MULTIPLAN

“Mudança de Hábito” retorna ao Brasil com Amanda Vicente como Deloris Van Cartier e abre vendas de ingressos

A nova montagem do sucesso da Broadway estreia no Teatro Multiplan, no Rio de Janeiro, em outubro de 2025, e as vendas começam em 17 de fevereiro pelo site da Sympla e na bilheteria física do teatro.

O icônico musical “Mudança de Hábito” está de volta ao Brasil em 2025, com uma nova montagem que promete encantar o público. Produzido pela Touché Entretenimento, de Renata Borges, e Juffer Entretenimento, de Eduardo Juffer, o espetáculo estreia em curta temporada no Teatro Multiplan, localizado no Shopping VillageMall, no Rio de Janeiro, a partir de 08 de outubro, com temporada prevista para São Paulo no primeiro semestre de 2026. A partir de segunda-feira, 17, clientes Multiplan podem adquirir seus ingressos através do site da Sympla e na bilheteria física; já a partir de quinta-feira, 20, as vendas serão abertas ao público geral nos mesmos canais.

Com direção de Tadeu Aguiar e direção musical de Laura Visconti, “Mudança de Hábito – A Divina Comédia Musical da Broadway”, que ganhará nova roupagem, com cenários e arranjos musicais diferenciados, apresenta uma trama envolvente, repleta de humor e músicas vibrantes, abordando temas como amizade, transformação e fé. A história acompanha Deloris Van Cartier, uma cantora de boate que se esconde em um convento após testemunhar um crime. Com sua energia contagiante e paixão pela música, ela transforma a vida das freiras e encontra um novo propósito.

Para interpretar Deloris, papel eternizado por Whoopi Goldberg no cinema, a atriz Amanda Vicente foi escolhida. Conhecida por trabalhos em musicais como “Rua Azusa – O Musical”, “Donna Summer – O Musical”, “Sweeney Todd”, “A Pequena Sereia – O Musical” e “A Cor Púrpura”, Amanda destaca-se pela versatilidade e potência vocal, prometendo uma performance marcante nesta produção.

O elenco ainda conta com o ator e cantor Junno Andrade no papel de Curtis Jackson, Gottsha como Madre Superiora e Vânia Canto como Irmã Maria Roberta. O teaser cinematográfico divulgado reforça a grandiosidade da produção e aumenta a expectativa do público para essa nova versão do clássico musical, que promete ser um dos grandes destaques teatrais de 2025 e 2026.

“Change of Habit” returns to Brazil with Amanda Vicente as Deloris Van Cartier and ticket sales now open

The new Broadway hit production premieres at Multiplan Theater, in Rio de Janeiro, in October 2025, with ticket sales starting February 17th via Sympla and at the theater’s physical box office.

The iconic musical “Change of Habit” is back in Brazil in 2025 with a fresh new staging that promises to captivate audiences. Produced by Touché Entretenimento, led by Renata Borges, and Juffer Entretenimento, led by Eduardo Juffer, the show will have a short season at Multiplan Theater, located inside Shopping VillageMall in Rio de Janeiro, beginning October 8th, with plans for São Paulo in the first half of 2026. Starting Monday, February 17th, Multiplan customers can purchase tickets through the Sympla website and at the theater’s box office; on Thursday, February 20th, sales will open to the general public via the same channels.

Directed by Tadeu Aguiar with musical direction by Laura Visconti, “Change of Habit – The Divine Comedy of Broadway” will feature a revamped set design and musical arrangements. It offers an engaging story full of humor, vibrant music, and themes of friendship, transformation, and faith. The story follows Deloris Van Cartier, a nightclub singer who hides in a convent after witnessing a crime. Her lively energy and love for music transform the lives of the nuns and give her a new purpose.

Amanda Vicente was chosen to portray Deloris, a role famously played by Whoopi Goldberg. Known for her performances in musicals like “Rua Azusa – O Musical”, “Donna Summer – O Musical”, “Sweeney Todd”, “A Pequena Sereia – O Musical”, and “A Cor Púrpura”, Amanda’s versatility and vocal strength promise a performance that will leave a lasting impression.

The cast also includes actor and singer Junno Andrade as Curtis Jackson, Gottsha as Mother Superior, and Vânia Canto as Sister Maria Roberta. The released teaser highlights the grandeur of this production, building excitement for what is expected to be one of the most prominent theatrical shows of 2025 and 2026.
