Em 1692, na cidade puritana de Salém, Massachusetts, o fazendeiro John Proctor (Marcel Giubilei) decide pôr fim ao romance com sua jovem amante, Abigail Williams (Elisa Pinheiro), sobrinha do Reverendo Parris (Carmo Dalla Vecchia), ministro local. Tomada pelo ressentimento, Abigail lidera um ritual oculto com outras jovens da comunidade — entre elas a filha e a escravizada do reverendo — pedindo a morte de Elizabeth (Patrícia Pinho), esposa de Proctor.
O ritual é descoberto por Parris, e as jovens são levadas a julgamento. Temendo pela reputação da família, o reverendo obriga Tituba (Flávia Freitas) a confessar envolvimento com o diabo. Sob pressão, ela admite, mas também acusa outros membros da comunidade. A partir daí, o medo, as mentiras e os interesses pessoais se transformam em histeria coletiva, resultando na condenação de mais de 150 pessoas por bruxaria — incluindo Elizabeth Proctor.

Salem Witches at Casa Grande Theater

In 1692, in the Puritan town of Salem, Massachusetts, farmer John Proctor (Marcel Giubilei) decides to end his affair with his young lover, Abigail Williams (Elisa Pinheiro), niece of Reverend Parris (Carmo Dalla Vecchia), the local minister. Driven by resentment, Abigail leads a secret ritual with other young women in the community — including the reverend’s daughter and his enslaved person — asking for Elizabeth’s (Patrícia Pinho) death, Proctor’s wife.
The ritual is discovered by Parris, and the girls are brought to trial. Fearing for their family’s reputation, the reverend forces Tituba (Flávia Freitas) to confess involvement with the devil. Under pressure, she admits, but also accuses other community members. From then on, fear, lies, and personal interests turn into a collective hysteria, leading to the condemnation of over 150 people for witchcraft — including Elizabeth Proctor.
The judge overseeing the trials will be played by Vanessa Gerbelli.
