THE FARMASI ARENA(originally named Rio Olympic Arena, also known as Arena Multiúso or Arena da Barra) is a multi-purpose arena located in Rio de Janeiro Olympic Park, in Jacarepagua, in Rio de Janeiro. It has a maximum capacity of 18 thousand people.

Opened for 2007 Pan American Games, hosts events and musical performances, and was one of the headquarters of 2016 Olympic Games, being the first arena in the history of the Olympic Games to host all three gymnastics disciplines.

Between the two sporting events, the gymnasium, under the commercial name HSBC Arena, hosted part of the activities of the Rio+20, occasional sporting events such as UFC and departures from basketball, and many musical performances, from international idols such as Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Green Day, Iron Maiden, Ed Sheeran, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Guns n’ Roses, Radiohead, RBD, Harry Styles and soon Louis Tomlinson. to Brazilian musicians like Roberto Carlos, Ivete Sangalo, Paula Fernandes, Fernandinho, Wesley Safadão e Sandy and also stand-up events such as the comedian Whindersson Nunes, who performed his last performance at the arena after announcing a break from the stage.

In 2016, to respect the rules of the International Olympic Committee regarding naming rights for Olympic venues, the name changed to RioArena.^[6] In January 2017, US cosmetics brand Jeunesse purchased the naming rights to Arena.^[7]
