TOTIA MEIRELES EM “HERIVELTO COMO CONHECI” NO TEATRO RIVAL PETROBRAS

Uma linda história de amor, contada e cantada em prosa e verso. Assim é o espetáculo “Herivelto como conheci”, atração do Teatro Rival Petrobras no dia 20 de junho. O musical revela detalhes do romance entre o compositor, cantor e instrumentista Herivelto Martins e sua segunda esposa, Lurdes Torelly, por meio de cartas e telegramas trocados entre os dois no período de 1947 a 1949.

Em cena, Totia Meireles dará voz às inesquecíveis composições de Herivelto, além de interpretar situações e ler trechos dessa correspondência em uma performance delicada e comovente. Totia estará acompanhada por Thiago Trajano (violão e bandolim), que também é responsável pela direção musical, e Guilherme Jesus (piano e acordeão). O espetáculo tem texto de Cacau Hygino e direção de Claudia Netto.

A beautiful love story, told and sung in prose and verse. This is the show “Herivelto como conheci,” a feature at Teatro Rival Petrobras on June 20. The musical reveals details of the romance between composer, singer, and instrumentalist Herivelto Martins and his second wife, Lurdes Torelly, through letters and telegrams exchanged between them from 1947 to 1949.

On stage, Totia Meireles will bring to life the unforgettable compositions of Herivelto, as well as interpret scenarios and read excerpts from this correspondence in a delicate and moving performance. Totia will be accompanied by Thiago Trajano (guitar and mandolin), who is also responsible for the musical direction, and Guilherme Jesus (piano and accordion). The script is by Cacau Hygino and directed by Claudia Netto.
