Um dos mais respeitados e inovadores coletivos instrumentais da atualidade, o Snarky Puppy está de volta ao Brasil em setembro para duas apresentações especiais, dentro da programação do Queremos! Jazz — iniciativa que celebra a vitalidade do jazz contemporâneo e aposta em sua força atemporal para renovar o circuito de shows no país. As performances acontecem em Porto Alegre, no Teatro Araújo Vianna, em 16 de setembro, e no Rio de Janeiro, no Vivo Rio, em 17 de setembro. Essas apresentações fazem parte de uma parceria consolidada com o Queremos!, que trouxe o grupo ao Brasil na sua última turnê, em 2023.

Desta vez, o coletivo do Texas celebra os dez anos do álbum “We Like It Here” (2014), uma obra fundamental em sua trajetória e referência no jazz fusion contemporâneo. As performances fazem parte da turnê latino-americana que comemora uma década de músicas icônicas, como “Lingus”, “Shofukan” e “What About Me”, faixas que moldaram a identidade sonora do grupo e acumulam mais de 160 milhões de reproduções mundialmente.

SNARKY PUPPY Presents 10 Years of “We Like It Here” Tour at Queremos! Jazz

One of the most respected and innovative instrumental collectives of today, Snarky Puppy is returning to Brazil in September for two special shows, part of the Queremos! Jazz series — an initiative that celebrates the vitality of contemporary jazz and its timeless power to reinvent the live music scene in the country. The shows will take place in Porto Alegre, at Teatro Araújo Vianna, on September 16, and in Rio de Janeiro, at Vivo Rio, on September 17. These performances are part of a strong partnership with Queremos!, which previously brought the group to Brazil in 2023.

This time, the Texas-based collective celebrates the 10th anniversary of “We Like It Here” (2014), a key album in their career and a reference in contemporary jazz fusion. The performances are part of the Latin American tour marking a decade of iconic songs like “Lingus”, “Shofukan”, and “What About Me”, tracks that have shaped the group’s sound and have over 160 million streams worldwide.
