“Diáspora Nordestina” – Coletivo Pé na Lapa no Teatro Rival Petrobras

O Coletivo Pé na Lapa apresenta o espetáculo “Diáspora Nordestina” no Teatro Rival Petrobras, no ** dia 23 de outubro**, com participação especial e supervisão de Amir Haddad. Trata-se de uma epopeia encenada em forma de cordel, que narra a saga do povo nordestino em três grandes movimentos migratórios: o Ciclo da Borracha, o Sudeste e a construção de Brasília. Através dessas travessias, o espetáculo retrata a formação do Brasil, com personagens do povo e figuras históricas, revelando encontros, choques e contradições que moldaram o país.

O Coletivo Pé na Lapa é um grupo formado por atores do grupo de teatro Tá Na Rua, artistas brasileiros e membros da comunidade carioca. Surgiu em 2022 com o propósito de divulgar as manifestações culturais populares das regiões Norte e Nordeste do Brasil. Entre seus espetáculos estão “O casamento de Xangô”, “Folguedos Nordestinos: Uma ode ao nordeste” e “Diáspora Nordestina”, um espetáculo com texto em cordel, dirigido pelo ator baiano Evandro Castro Neto e com direção de movimento de Renatinha Bronze.

The Pé na Lapa Collective presents the show “Nordestine Diaspora” at Teatro Rival Petrobras on October 23rd, with special participation and supervision by Amir Haddad. This is an epic performed in the form of a cordel, narrating the saga of the Northeastern people through three major migratory movements: the Rubber Cycle, the Southeast, and the construction of Brasília. Through these journeys, the show depicts Brazil’s formation with characters from the people and historical figures, revealing encounters, clashes, and contradictions that shaped the country.

Pé na Lapa is a group formed by actors from the theater group Tá Na Rua, Brazilian artists, and members of the Rio de Janeiro community. Founded in 2022, its mission is to promote popular cultural expressions from the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. Their repertoire includes productions like “O casamento de Xangô”, “Folguedos Nordestinos: Uma ode ao nordeste”, and “Nordestine Diaspora,” a cordel-texted show directed by Bahian actor Evandro Castro Neto with movement direction by Renatinha Bronze.

On October 21st, in the monologue “Bette Davis – Survival Manual”, Nina embodies the diva, exploring her career, successes, failures, and personal struggles.

Written by Jau Sant’Angelo, this solo reveals Bette Davis’s strength, talent, ferocity, and sharp humor, oscillating between vulnerability and resilience. Under the provocative concept of Anselmo Vasconcellos, the show invites the audience to reflect, feel, and laugh simultaneously, in a bold and emotional experience.

In the story, a veteran actress, isolated in her dressing room, confronts ghosts from a career marked by applause and silence. Between reality and delusion, she revisits memories of unfulfilled passions, rejected roles, and lost youth under the spotlight.
