No dia 30 de agosto, o Teatro Rival Petrobras apresenta o espetáculo “Nasci pra ser Dercy”, estrelado pela talentosa atriz Grace Gianoukas, com voz off de Miguel Falabella e produção da Ventilador de Talentos. Escrito e dirigido por Kiko Rieser, o monólogo é uma homenagem à icônica Dercy Gonçalves, uma artista que quebrou padrões e inaugurou uma representação genuinamente brasileira em nossos palcos.

A peça inicia com a personagem Vera entrando no estúdio para fazer teste para o papel de Dercy em um filme. À medida que narra suas falas, Vera se revolta contra o roteiro repleto de estereótipos. Sua mãe era uma grande fã de Dercy, e, por isso, Vera cresceu conhecendo e sendo influenciada pela artista. Ao longo do espetáculo, Vera se transforma em Dercy, revelando quem realmente foi essa mulher à frente de seu tempo.

On August 30th, Teatro Rival Petrobras presents the show “Nasci pra ser Dercy”, starring the talented actress Grace Gianoukas, with voice-over by Miguel Falabella, and produced by Ventilador de Talentos. Written and directed by Kiko Rieser, this monologue pays tribute to the legendary Dercy Gonçalves, an artist who broke stereotypes and introduced a truly Brazilian representation to our stages.

The play starts with the character Vera entering a studio to audition for the role of Dercy in a movie. As she recites her lines, Vera becomes increasingly revolted by the stereotypical script. Her mother was a big fan of Dercy, and Vera grew up influenced by her. Throughout the performance, Vera transforms into Dercy, revealing who she truly was — a woman ahead of her time.
