O cantor e compositor Humberto Gessinger apresenta seu quinto álbum solo, “Revendo o que Nunca Foi Visto”, no ano em que celebra 40 anos de carreira. O lançamento inclui duas inéditas gravadas em estúdio, “Paraibah” e “Sem Piada Nem Textão”, além de dez canções ao vivo gravadas em janeiro deste ano durante a passagem da turnê “Engenheiros do Hawaii Acústico” por São Paulo.

“Paraibah” é uma parceria com Chico César, gravada no lendário Estúdio Atlantis, em Estocolmo, com participação do músico brasileiro radicado na Suécia, Rubem Farias. A parte de Chico foi gravada em São Paulo. Humberto explica que “Paraibah” fala sobre a importância da arte e da imaginação para furar bolhas e aproximar pessoas.
“Sem Piada Nem Textão” aborda a busca por serenidade e simplicidade nos tempos difíceis em que vivemos. Gravada em Porto Alegre, contou com a participação de músicos de uma das formações originais dos Engenheiros do Hawaii: Adal Fonseca (bateria), Luciano Granja (violão) e Lúcio Dorfman (teclados).

O título “Revendo o que Nunca Foi Visto” faz referência à letra de “O Papa é Pop”, presente na parte das gravações ao vivo. O repertório inclui ainda os sucessos “Era Um Garoto Que Como Eu Amava Os Beatles e Os Rolling Stones”, “Piano Bar” e “Toda Forma de Poder”.

A produção é de Humberto Gessinger, com coprodução de Potásio Jr. O álbum foi lançado no final de junho de 2025 em streaming, CD, LP e cassete pela gravadora Deck.

Singer and songwriter Humberto Gessinger presents his fifth solo album, “Revendo o que Nunca Foi Visto”, in the year he celebrates 40 years of his career. The release features two new studio recordings, “Paraibah” and “Sem Piada Nem Textão”, as well as ten live tracks recorded in January this year during the “Engenheiros do Hawaii Acoustic” tour in São Paulo.

“Paraibah” is a collaboration with Chico César, recorded at the legendary Atlantis Studio in Stockholm, with participation from Brazilian musician Rubem Farias, based in Sweden. Chico’s part was recorded in São Paulo. Humberto explains that “Paraibah” talks about the importance of art and imagination to break bubbles and bring people closer.
“Sem Piada Nem Textão” addresses the search for serenity and simplicity in today’s turbulent times. Recorded in Porto Alegre, it features musicians from one of the original Engenheiros do Hawaii lineups: Adal Fonseca (drums), Luciano Granja (guitar), and Lúcio Dorfman (keyboards).

The title “Revendo o que Nunca Foi Visto” alludes to the lyrics of “O Papa é Pop”, included in the live recordings. The setlist also features hits like “Era Um Garoto Que Como Eu Amava Os Beatles e Os Rolling Stones”, “Piano Bar”, and “Toda Forma de Poder”.

Produced by Humberto Gessinger and co-produced by Potásio Jr., the album was released at the end of June 2025 on streaming platforms, CD, LP, and cassette by Deck Records.
