No dia 25 de outubro, os The Wailers se apresentam na Fundição Progresso, no Rio de Janeiro, com uma turnê internacional que celebra os 30 anos do álbum Natural Mystic: The Legend Lives On, lançado em 1995 como complemento ao clássico Legend, de Bob Marley.

Após o sucesso da turnê de 2024 — que homenageou o álbum Legend — os The Wailers retornam aos palcos com a proposta de reviver ao vivo, na íntegra, o repertório de Natural Mystic. A nova turnê teve início em Venice, na Califórnia, e passará por diversos países até chegar ao Brasil. O show mescla grandes clássicos de Marley com novos arranjos e interpretações lideradas por Aston Barrett Jr., filho do lendário baixista Aston “Familyman” Barrett. Barrett Jr. tem se destacado na liderança da banda e recentemente interpretou seu pai na cinebiografia Bob Marley: One Love, lançada em fevereiro de 2024.

Além de apresentar faixas mais politizadas e espirituais de Marley — como “Natural Mystic”, “Africa Unite”, “So Much Trouble in the World” e “Iron Lion Zion” — o show também inclui canções do álbum Evolution, lançado em 2024 com produção de Emilio Estefan Jr.. Essa obra marca uma nova fase da banda, misturando reggae tradicional com influências latinas e caribenhas, e rendeu aos The Wailers duas indicações ao Grammy.

THE WAILERS Bring Their Celebratory “NATURAL MYSTIC” Tour to Fundição Progresso in October

One of the greatest names in the history of reggae is returning to Brazil. On October 25th, The Wailers will perform at Fundição Progresso in Rio de Janeiro with an international tour celebrating 30 years of the album Natural Mystic: The Legend Lives On, released in 1995 as a supplement to Bob Marley’s classic Legend.

Following the success of their 2024 tour — which paid tribute to Legend — The Wailers are back on stage with a live performance of the full Natural Mystic repertoire. The new tour started in Venice, California, and will visit several countries before reaching Brazil. The show combines Marley’s timeless classics with new arrangements and interpretations led by Aston Barrett Jr., son of legendary bassist Aston “Familyman” Barrett. Barrett Jr. has gained prominence in leading the band and recently portrayed his father in the biopic Bob Marley: One Love, released in February 2024.

In addition to performing Marley’s more political and spiritual songs — such as “Natural Mystic”, “Africa Unite”, “So Much Trouble in the World”, and “Iron Lion Zion” — the show also features songs from the album Evolution, released in 2024 and produced by Emilio Estefan Jr. This work marks a new phase for the band, blending traditional reggae with Latin and Caribbean influences, earning The Wailers two Grammy nominations.
