Diogo Gomes atua como trompetista, arranjador, compositor e produtor musical. Natural do Rio de Janeiro, tem seu nome atrelado a personalidades da música brasileira, tendo participado de turnês com Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Maria Bethânia, Djavan, Jorge Ben Jor, Maria Rita e Nando Reis.

Além de integrar a banda de Gilberto Gil como trompetista e arranjador, Diogo Gomes lançou, em 2022, seu primeiro álbum, intitulado Transcendental, no qual reúne composições autorais que evidenciam sua performance e musicalidade afro-brasileira.

No dia 16 de julho, o trompetista se apresenta no Blue Note Rio com o show Transcendental, interpretando ao vivo as faixas do álbum que dá nome ao espetáculo.

Diogo Gomes is a trumpet player, arranger, composer, and music producer. Native of Rio de Janeiro, he is associated with prominent Brazilian musicians, having toured with Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Maria Bethânia, Djavan, Jorge Ben Jor, Maria Rita, and Nando Reis.

In addition to being part of Gilberto Gil’s band as a trumpet player and arranger, Diogo Gomes released his debut album, Transcendental, in 2022, featuring original compositions that showcase his Afro-Brazilian performance and musicality.

On July 16th, the trumpeter performs at Blue Note Rio with the show Transcendental, live interpreting the tracks from the album that gives the show its name.
