No monólogo “BETTE DAVIS – MANUAL DE SOBREVIVÊNCIA”, de Jau Sant’Angelo, o público vivencia uma figura icônica, com todo o seu talento, ferocidade e humor ácido, oscilando entre força e vulnerabilidade, gerando reflexão, incômodo, emoção e risos.

Sob a direção provocadora de Anselmo Vasconcellos, a atriz Nina de Pádua dá vida – brilhantemente – à lendária Bette Davis, conduzindo a plateia por um labirinto de emoções de uma diva em crise. Nina encara, sem pressão, o desafio de fazer seu primeiro solo: “Estou tranquila porque fui muito bem preparada pelo Anselmo e confio que a Bette é quem leva o barco. Minha Bette Davis é rock’n’roll.”

A apresentação estreou em 3 de julho no Teatro Barra Point e terá uma única apresentação no dia 21 de outubro, terça-feira, às 19h30 no Teatro Rival Petrobras, Rua Álvaro Alvim, 33 – Subsolo, no Rio de Janeiro.

Nesta proposta ousada, vemos uma atriz veterana isolada em seu camarim, confrontada pelos fantasmas de uma carreira marcada por aplausos e silêncios. No limiar entre o real e o delírio, ela dá voz às memórias que insistem em retornar — paixões não vividas, papéis recusados, a juventude perdida sob os holofotes. In the monologue “BETTE DAVIS – SURVIVAL GUIDE” by Jau Sant’Angelo, the audience encounters an iconic figure, showcasing her talent, fierceness, and sharp humor, swinging between strength and vulnerability, provoking reflection, discomfort, emotion, and laughter.

Under the provocative direction of Anselmo Vasconcellos, actress Nina de Pádua brilliantly embodies the legendary Bette Davis, guiding the audience through the labyrinth of a diva in crisis. Nina takes on the challenge of her first solo performance without pressure: “I feel calm because I was very well prepared by Anselmo, and I trust that Bette is the one who steers the ship. My Bette Davis is rock’n’roll.”

The show premiered on July 3 at Teatro Barra Point and will have a one-time performance on October 21st, Tuesday at 7:30 pm at Teatro Rival Petrobras, Rua Álvaro Alvim, 33 – Subsolo, Rio de Janeiro.
