BENT é, provavelmente, a história de amor mais comovente do teatro. Ambientada na Alemanha dos anos 1930 durante a ascensão de Hitler, a peça retrata a perseguição dos nazistas aos homossexuais, onde surge o amor entre dois homens em um ambiente extremamente hostil ao desenvolvimento desse sentimento.

BENT is probably the most moving love story in theater. Set in Germany in the 1930s during the rise of Hitler, the play depicts the persecution of homosexuals by the Nazis, where love between two men blossoms in a most inhospitable environment for the development of such love.
