Imagine poder viajar para um mundo mágico de histórias. É isso que acontece quando Maggie revê sua caixa repleta de livros que marcaram sua infância e adolescência.

Maggie é uma mulher que, apesar de amar livros na juventude, parou de ler na correria do dia a dia. Um dia, decide se livrar de sua caixa especial cheia de livros favoritos e, como um “passe de mágica”, de repente volta a ter 13 anos, reencontrando seus personagens preferidos das histórias: Chapeuzinho Vermelho, Pequeno Príncipe, Aladim, Tarzan, Sininho, e as princesas Bela, Aurora, Cinderela e Tiana. Mas a magia não para por aí! Maggie também encontra personagens bem brasileiros, como o Menino Maluquinho, Julieta e a Professora Maluquinha. Juntos, eles vivem aventuras incríveis e relembram histórias que marcaram a infância de muita gente.

Mas tem um problema: a Maggie de hoje em dia se deixa levar pelas redes sociais e tem um ídolo bem diferente dos personagens dos livros: o “Príncipe da Internet”. O que será que vai acontecer? Quem será mais importante para Maggie, os livros ou a internet?

Imagine being able to travel to a magical world of stories. This is what happens when Maggie revisits her box filled with books that marked her childhood and adolescence.

Maggie is a woman who loved books when she was younger but stopped reading due to the hustle and bustle of daily life. One day, she decides to part with her special box full of favorite books, and like a “magic spell,” she suddenly becomes 13 again and reunites with her favorite characters: Little Red Riding Hood, the Little Prince, Aladdin, Tarzan, Tinker Bell, and princesses Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, and Tiana. But the magic doesn’t stop there! Maggie also meets beloved Brazilian characters like the Little Nutty Boy, Julieta, and the very quirky teacher. Together, they experience incredible adventures and reminisce about stories that touched many childhoods.

However, there’s a problem: the Maggie of today is hooked on social media and has an idol very different from the characters in her books: the “Prince of the Internet.” What will happen? Who will be more important to Maggie, the books or the internet?

This theatrical text is freely inspired by a real situation of the author and director MultiArte, Maggie Dias, with a touch of fantasy. In a playful and creative way, the play provides moments of reflection on what our priorities are.
