Assim é o musical “Ismael Silva: Professor Samba,” uma homenagem ao ilustre Ismael Silva (14/09/1905 – 14/03/1978), sambista carioca e um dos fundadores da que é considerada a primeira escola de samba, a “Deixa Falar,” que anos depois se tornaria a aclamada Estácio de Sá. O espetáculo contará com participações especiais de componentes de escolas de samba cariocas ao final de cada apresentação, fazendo uma grande festa.\nA peça foi indicada aos prêmios APTR (categoria direção de movimento – Édio Nunes e Milton Filho) e Prêmio Shell (categoria melhor ator – Edio Nunes). A estreia será com a Estácio de Sá, seguida pela Paraíso do Tuiuti, Viradouro e Imperatriz Leopoldinense.\nTrês atores se revezam no papel principal: Edio Nunes (que também assina a idealização e direção), Jorge Maya e Milton Filho. O texto é de Ana Veloso, que também é responsável pela direção, enquanto a direção musical fica a cargo de Wladimir Pinheiro.\nA trama apresenta uma roda de samba ambientada na Lapa das décadas de 20 a 50, repleta de histórias, música e a boa “malandragem” característica da boemia carioca.
